With the RapidGen API, you can create your own application to interface with us, where you have the freedom to generate links with a variety of options. We are just getting started, so expect many more new and exciting features to be added in the coming weeks!

The API is in test mode at the moment. You could use it to generate links for testing for remote uploads etc. Remember, a link will only be as stable as long as we have accounts in our database for the given filehost, plus the file hasn't been deleted from the filehost it belongs to! Obviously, there are limits, and some packages will be released in due course for those who need more bandwidth.
Our API uses basic JSON responses, which can be parsed easily via your application, preferably PHP (e.g. using the inbuilt json decode function(s)). We have also provided a demo application, which you can try out, to generate some links via our api. See the documentation for more information on how to get your API key, which you will need for API authorisation.

Currently the plan is only available as an "add-on" (also called a 'Configurable Option' in WHMCS) to the RapidGen RG-UP memberships. The addon costs $1.50 and the access to the API expires at the same time as your normal membership would. You can order the API addon simply by selecting it (tick the box!) when purchasing! Use of the API will utilise and deplete the download limits for whichever membership plan you purchased. Links generated via the API will automatically appear in your My Links area of http://rapidgen.net when logged in.
